A Lancashire woman has told of her devastation after her fiance was sentenced to five years imprisonment in India.
Former soldier Ray Tindall was one of six British soldiers and 29 others from Estonia, Ukraine and India who were arrested onboard the MV Seaman Guard Ohio, an anti-pirate ship working in Indian waters.
Jessica Kemp who was expecting Ray home, has pleaded with the Government to do more to get the men free.
The men have 90 days to launch an appeal and the case was raised in the European Parliament by representatives of the Estonian prisoners, but Jessica has urged the public to sign a petition calling on the British Government to secure the freedom of the six veterans and help fund their £1million legal costs.
Our reporter Holly Jones met with Jessica to hear more about what she’s been through and what she’s doing…
